  1. In , Highball Holiday put out an album through Moon Ska Records which was well received by critics and fans alike. It wasn’t long until INK Magazine called her one of the finest voices not only in ska, but in music as a whole. Shahanna’s onstage banter between songs was a mix of love and politics, and their live shows were legendary.

  3. Highball, no garnish. John Collins 1 1/2 oz. Whiskey, Collins Mix to fill. Highball, Cherry/Orange Slice. Long Island Iced Tea 1 oz. Gin, 1 oz. Vodka, 1 oz. Rum, 1 oz. Tequila, Splash Sour Mix, Splash Lime Mix, Stir, top with cola. Highball, Lemon Wedge. Madras 1 1/2 oz. Vodka, Orange Juice to 3/4 fill, Cranberry Juice to top. Don't Stir.
  4. Sure, you can look at it as simply a mix of whisky and soda — a ratio, stirred slowly so as to not let the gas escape the soda water, preferably into a chilled glass that helps reduce the rate.
